About This Blog

Hello, world! I am a 23 year old full time graduate student and fourth grade teacher. In August, I will graduate from Furman University with my Masters of Arts with a concentration in Learning Disabilities. As I prepare for my future, I am completing my practicum experience. This blog is where you will find the intimate details of my journey to graduation. You will read, in painstaking detail, all of my thoughts, emotions, struggles and triumphs as I go through the practicum. I am sure each day will be a new adventure. To keep things consistent (if you’re anything like me, then you aren’t one for surprises) all posts will follow the same general format: quote of the day, what I am hanging hope on, how I am feeling, a wish for tomorrow, & food for thought. I encourage you to read and comment- ask questions, challenge my thinking, offer a fresh perspective! Take a chance and teach the teacher!
